Outside of his professional life, Pummill possesses an adventurous spirit, a love for travel, and a passion for sports. His wanderlust was ignited during his college years, leading him to explore far-off places like Uppsala, Sweden, Estonia, and the Netherlands. Following graduation, he and his wife continued their adventures by embarking on hikes along scenic trails across the United States. The joy of discovering new places and creating cherished memories with loved ones has made this hobby a deeply cherished one for him.

In his leisure time, he enjoys reading, exercising, and indulging in his favorite sports, including avid support for the New England Patriots football team and the Dallas Mavericks basketball team.
